DEFINING THE ZONES OF EACH GROUP
To display the submenu used for defining the audio zones belonging to each group, from the GROUPS menu move the selection point to the na-
me of the group to be configured and press F1. The fields described below appear on the control unit display.
ADD. ZONE Used for selecting the zones to be included in each group. Use the + and - keys to select the name of the zone from those pre-
viously defined using the OUTPUT PROCESSORS menu; all the zones of the system are available for selection.
If you choose the NO ZONE option, no zone is selected.
IMPORTANT NOTE
• It is not possible to include an audio output (zone) of the RECORDER type in a group of zones. If, for example, the system has 64 outputs,
and one output is configured as RECORDER type, a maximum of 63 zones (64-1) can belong to a group.

USING THE "RELAY CONFIGURATION" MENU

This menu is used for programming relays of the IO 3250 digital INPUT/OUTPUT boards. From the main configuration menu of the control
unit, use the ↑ / ↓ and/or pag↑ / pag↓ keys to move the selection point to the RELAY CONFIGURATION submenu and press ENTER. The
fields described below appear on the control unit display.
N.
Indicates the identification number of the relay to be programmed. The indication is sequential: the number 1 corresponds to re-
lay number 1 of digital INPUT/OUTPUT board number 1; the number 25 corresponds to relay number 1 of digital INPUT/OUTPUT
board number 2; the number 192 corresponds to relay number 24 of digital INPUT/OUTPUT board number 8, and so on.
NAME
Used for defining the identification name of the relay, which can be composed of a maximum of 16 alphanumerical characters.
Use the + and - keys to select the alphanumerical characters in rotation, and confirm each character with ENTER. The numeri-
cal characters can be selected directly on the numerical keypad.
STATUS
Used for defining the normal status of the relay contact; i.e. the status that the contact must assume when the relay is not being
controlled. Use the + and - keys to select one of the following options:
• OPEN - Contact normally open.
• CLOSED - Contact normally closed.
