MB 3200 – FRONT PANEL DEVICES (Fig. 3)
(1) Indicator light for 12 Vdc / 24 Vdc power supply
Each of these LEDs is related to one of the OB 3230 AUDIO OUTPUT boards or IO 3250 digital INPUT/OUTPUT boards installed in the sub-
rack. The LED lights up to indicate that the corresponding board is correctly supplied by the voltage for analogue circuits (12 Vdc or 24 Vdc).
(2) Indicator light for 5 Vdc power supply
Each of these LEDs is related to one of the OB 3230 AUDIO OUTPUT boards or IO 3250 digital INPUT/OUTPUT boards installed in the
sub-rack. The LED lights up to indicate that the corresponding board is correctly supplied by the voltage for digital circuits (5 Vdc).
(3) Monitor / GPI indicator lights
Each of these LEDs is related to one of the OB 3230 AUDIO OUTPUT boards or IO 3250 digital INPUT/OUTPUT boards installed in the
sub-rack. OB 3230 AUDIO OUTPUT board: the LED flashes when the monitor function is activated on an output of the board. IO 3250
digital INPUT/OUTPUT board: the LED flashes when any GPI input of the board is being driven.
(4) Matrix / relay indicator lights
Each of these LEDs is related to one of the OB 3230 AUDIO OUTPUT boards or IO 3250 digital INPUT/OUTPUT boards installed in the
sub-rack.
OB 3230 AUDIO OUTPUT board: the LED flashes when the switching matrix of the board is active, or when an output of the board is
connected with one of the inputs of the audio matrix.
IO 3250 digital INPUT/OUTPUT board: the LED flashes when the contact of one of the output relays of the board is closed.
NOTE
• LED (4) of an IO 3250 digital INPUT/OUTPUT board also flashes when one of its relays is set as normally closed by means of the de-
dicated configuration menu on the CP 3100 control unit.
(5) Communication indicator lights
Each of these LEDs is related to one of the OB 3230 AUDIO OUTPUT boards or IO 3250 digital INPUT/OUTPUT boards installed in the
sub-rack. The LED lights up to indicate that the corresponding board is communicating with the CP 3100 control unit.
(6) Fault indicator lights
Each of these LEDs is related to one of the OB 3230 AUDIO OUTPUT boards or IO 3250 digital INPUT/OUTPUT boards installed in the
sub-rack. The LED lights up when there is an alarm caused by a malfunction of the corresponding board (e.g. delay in communication,
error, fault, etc.).
NOTE
• During the system configuration phases, it is normal for this LED to flash.
(7) Indicator lights for AUDIO INPUT boards
Each of these LEDs is related to one of the IB 3210 / IB 3280 AUDIO INPUT boards installed in the sub-rack. The status of the LED pro-
vides the following indications:
• LED on continuous mode - Indicates an alarm caused by a malfunction of the corresponding board (e.g. delay in communication,
error, failure, etc.).
• LED flashing - Indicates that the corresponding board is communicating with the CP 3100 control unit.
• LED off - Indicates that the corresponding board is not supplied by the voltage for digital circuits (5 Vdc).

(1) JP6 jumper
Used for connecting the GND pole of the 5 Vdc power supply voltage with the frame of the MB 3200 sub-rack.
(2) JP7 jumper
Used for connecting the GND pole of the 12 Vdc power supply voltage with the frame of the MB 3200 sub-rack.
(3) JP8 jumper
Used for connecting the GND pole of the 24 Vdc power supply voltage with the frame of the MB 3200 sub-rack.
