below appear on the control unit display.
CONSOLLE
Indicates the identification number of the BM 3616 digital console; this number is set locally on the console by means of
the address assignment procedure (see the installation and operation manual for the BM 3616 console).
REV
Indicates the software version of the console.
COM
Indicates an alarm caused by a communication problem between the console and the control unit. When the alarm is acti-
ve, the symbol X is shown in the field.
EEP
Indicates an alarm caused by a failure or defective operation of the console's EEPROM memory. When the alarm is active,
the symbol X is shown in the field.
RST

DETAIL OF ALARMS ON THE A.C.U.s

SYSTEM ALARMS OVERVIEW
(ACU) AMPLIFIERS
GPI ALARMS
PRESS F1 TO VIEW CURRENT ALARMS
For a detailed report on the current status of alarms related to the A.C.U.s (see the section AMPLIFIER CONTROL UNITS), from the ALARMS
menu of the control unit, use the ↑ / ↓ and/or pag ↑ / pag ↓ keys to move the selection point to the AMPLIFIERS submenu and press EN-
TER. The fields described below appear on the control unit display.
ACU N.
Indicates the identification number of the A.C.U. (RB 3300 back-amplifier board). The indication is sequential and is related
to the address assigned to the A.C.U. in the installation phase: the number 1 corresponds to the A.C.U. with address "0";
the number 120 corresponds to the A.C.U. with address 119.
REV
Indicates the software version of the A.C.U.
COM
Indicates an alarm caused by a communication problem between the A.C.U. and the CP 3100 control unit. When the alarm
is active, the symbol X is shown in the field.
LFT
This alarm is only signalled if the A.C.U. is equipped with the optional SB 3320 FAULT DETECTOR board. It indicates one
or more faulty signals on the audio line for speakers connected to the output of the amplifier controlled by the A.C.U.; e.g.
a short circuit between the two conductors of the line, an interruption of the line, a short circuit between the line and the
earth circuit (see the section LINE FAULT FUNCTION). When the alarm is active, the symbol X is shown in the field.
PAF
This alarm is only signalled if the A.C.U. is equipped with the optional SB 3320 FAULT DETECTOR board. It indicates any
malfunction of the amplifier controlled by the A.C.U. that causes a perceptible decrease in the power transmitted (see the
section PA FAULT FUNCTION). If the A.C.U. has been configured with the MODE=AUTO option, activation of this alarm
causes the automatic disactivation of the amplifier controlled by the unit and insertion of a backup amplifier, where present,
or a BACKUP A.C.U. if the backup amplifier is also controlled by a RB 3300 back-amplifier board (see the section USING
THE "ACU" MENU). When the alarm is active, the symbol X is shown in the field.
