IO 3250 digital INPUT/OUTPUT boards can be switched. The BM 3616 console has the following characteristics:
• Back-lit liquid crystal display, 1x16, for message display.
• 16 programmable keys for the selection of zones and/or groups of zones.
• Key for selecting all the zones of the system.
• 3 programmable function keys (F1, F2, F3) for controlling relays or for remote playback of audio signals (messages or tones).
• Alarm key for sending messages with absolute priority.
• Possibility to record a message locally, which is automatically transmitted to the zones selected when the system makes them available.
• Condenser microphone on gooseneck with lighted indicator ring.
• Microphone compressor equipped with level limiter.
• Pre-announcement signal generator for 1, 2, or 3-tone signals.
• Balanced audio output with transformer, with adjustable level.
• Audio output for headphone monitoring of the locally recorded message.
• Indicator lights for the zones and functions selected.
• Incorporated acoustic signaller (buzzer).
• Password for console activation.
• Connection to the control unit via RS 485 serial line.
• High reliability thanks to the "watchdog" hardware, which enables immediate recovery of normal operating conditions in the event of indu-
ced interference.
• Setup configuration stored in the console for quick system startup.

BM 3604 MICROPHONE CONSOLE

The BM 3604 is a table-top microphone console with gooseneck. It can be used for making announcements in 4 zones or groups of zones,
which can be chosen as desired using four keys on the console. The BM 3604 has the following characteristics:
• 4 keys for selecting single zones or groups of zones.
• Key for general selection of all zones or groups of zones associated to the console.
• Key for transmitting a microphone announcement to the selected zones.
• Key for transmitting a microphone announcement only in a local zone.
• Auxiliary key for controlling an event of the RX 3000 system (e.g. transmission of a pre-recorded message stored on the CP 3100 control
unit, switching a relay of the IO 3250 boards, etc.).
• Pre-announcement signal generator with 1, 2, or 3 tones.
• Condenser microphone on gooseneck with lighted ring.
• Balanced audio output (line level).
• Auxiliary audio output (line level) for driving an amplifier dedicated to sound amplification in a local zone.
• Indicator lights for the zones and functions selected.
• Timer for automatic disactivation of the zones selected in the absence of an announcement.
• Automatic gain control for transmission at constant volume.
• Possibility to interconnect multiple BM 3604 consoles in cascade on the same line.

RB 3300 BACK-AMPLIFIER BOARD

The RB 3300 is an electronic board to be coupled with a power amplifier having constant voltage outputs, making it possible to:
• switch the amplifier on/off by means of the CP 3100 control unit.
• control amplifier operation.
• activate a backup amplifier in the event of a fault on the amplifier controlled by the board.
• monitor the amplifier speaker output by means of the dedicated loudspeaker on the CP 3100 control unit.
The amplifier to which the board is coupled can be the primary one normally used for sound diffusion in a certain audio zone, or a backup
amplifier to be used in place of the primary amplifier in the event of a breakdown. The board is installed on the rack in correspondence with
the rear panel of the amplifier to be controlled, and is connected to the CP 3100 control unit by means of a digital bus and an audio monitor
bus. The RB 3300 board has the following features and functions:
• Balanced input for line signal.
• Balanced output for driving the amplifier.
• Input for signalling an alarm coming from the amplifier being controlled (e.g. overload).
• Amplifier speaker output monitoring, with the possibility to control lines at 25 V, 50 V, 70 V, 100 V.
• Signalling the following types of alarms to the CP 3100 control unit:
- board reset ("watchdog" reset).
- power supply anomalies on the board (12V and/or 24V).
- operating anomalies on the amplifier being controlled, signalled by means of an auxiliary contact on the amplifier (e.g. operation in over
load).
- alarms transmitted by the optional SB 3320 FAULT DETECTOR board.
- indications from the optional LB 3340 DIGITAL ALC board.
• Manual or automatic activation of a backup amplifier in place of the amplifier being controlled in the event of:
- an alarm transmitted by the amplifier being controlled (e.g. overload alarm).
- an alarm transmitted by the optional SB 3320 FAULT DETECTOR board.
• High reliability thanks to the "watchdog" hardware, which permits immediate recovery of the normal operating conditions in the event of in-
duced interference.
• Can be equipped with the optional LB 3340 DIGITAL ALC board, which makes it possible to use the ALC function for automatic control of
the ambient signal/noise ratio, and the DAY/NIGHT function for automatic lowering of the sound level during the night-time hours.
• Can be equipped with the optional SB 3320 FAULT DETECTOR board, which makes it possible to use the LINE FAULT function for checking
correct operation of the speaker line, the PA FAULT function for checking correct amplifier operation, and the FIRE-BREAK function for
transmitting an alarm signal with absolute priority (e.g. fire alarm), with exclusion of the signal coming from the audio matrix of the system.
