LANGUAGE SELECTION

The messages that appear on the display of the CP 3100 control unit can be shown in different languages. To select the desired language,
use the + and - keys.

MAIN MENU

The main menu contains the four submenus described below.
• F1: CONFIGURATION
• F2: ALARMS
• F3: STORE CONFIG.
• F4: AUDIO PROCESS
At the bottom left of the main menu there is an ACTIVITY BAR, which "runs" to indicate whether the system is operating correctly. The filling
of the bar represents the progression of the control cycle which the CP 3100 unit carries out periodically on the system devices. At the bot-
tom right of the main menu, the current date and time are indicated, which can be adjusted using a dedicated menu.

SYSTEM CONFIGURATION ("CONFIGURATION" menu)

To access the menus used for system configuration (devices, functions, etc.), from the main menu press F1. The display shows a menu page
containing the fields described below.
DEVICE
Indicates the various devices of the system. The texts displayed are:
• CONSOLES: indicates the BM 3616 digital consoles.
• AUDIO INP PROC.: indicates the IB 3210 / IB 3280 AUDIO INPUT boards.
• AUDIO OUT PROC.: indicates the OB 3230 AUDIO OUTPUT boards.
• GPI PROCESS.: indicates the IO 3250 digital INPUT/OUTPUT boards.
• ACU: indicates the RB 3300 back-amplifier boards.
USED
Indicates the number of system components that have been configured using the respective menu of the control unit.
FOUND
Indicates the number of system components found and correctly programmed by the control unit by means of the system self-
configuration procedure.
The first screen only shows the data related to the first two devices of the system. To display the subsequent devices, use the ↑ / ↓ and/or
pag↑ / pag↓ keys.

This submenu is accessed by pressing the F1 key, and is used for configuring all the system (devices, functions,
etc.). By means of this submenu the configuration files are created, which make it possible to program all the sy-
stem devices (see the section STORING A CONFIGURATION). For a description of how to use the various func-
tions of the submenu, see the section SYSTEM CONFIGURATION.
This submenu is accessed by pressing the F2 key, and is used for displaying the status of the alarms managed by
the system. For a description of how to use the various functions of the submenu, see the section ALARM STATUS
DISPLAY.
This submenu is accessed by pressing the F3 key, and is used for programming all the system devices with the
settings contained in the configuration files created using the submenu F1: CONFIGURATION. For a description
of how to use the function, see the section STORING A CONFIGURATION
This submenu is accessed by pressing the F4 key, and is used for setting or quick modification of numerous audio
parameters. It is also used for monitoring the audio signals handled by the system (input signals, output signals,
etc.). For a description of how to use the various functions of the submenu, see the section AUDIO SETTINGS.
