IMPORTANT NOTES
• Before using the system equipment, please read the instructions in this manual carefully and keep it for future reference.
• This manual is to be considered an integral part of the system, and must accompany it when it changes ownership as a reference for cor-
rect use and safety precautions.
• RCF will not assume any responsibility for incorrect installation of the system equipment.
CAUTION
• To prevent the risk of fire or electric shock, never expose the system equipment to rain or humidity.
SAFETY PREACAUTIONS
1. Please read the notes preceded by the symbol
2. To prevent the risk of fire or electric shock, make sure that the power cable of the CP 3100 control unit cannot be stepped on or crushed
by objects. Do not bend, jerk or cut the cable.
3. To prevent the risk of electric shock, never open the CP 3100 control unit. There are no parts on the inside that the user needs to
access.
4. Make sure that no objects or liquids can get into the system equipment, as this could cause fires or electric shock.
5. Do not attempt to make any repairs not described in this manual. Contact the RCF Service Centre whenever:
a. a system component does not function (or functions abnormally).
b. the power cable of the CP 3100 control unit has been damaged.
c. objects or liquids have got into a system component.
d. a system component has been subject to heavy impact.
6. When the system is not to be used for long periods of time, switch it off and disconnect the power supply from all the related pieces of
equipment.
7. If any equipment begins to emit anomalous odours or smoke, switch the system off immediately.
8. To prevent the risk of electric shock, do not connect or disconnect the power cable of CP 3100 control unit with your hands wet;
always grasp the plug directly, and never pull on the cable.
9. Do not spray any product directly on the system equipment (e.g. insecticides, cleaning products, etc.), as the gasses used could ignite.
10. The system equipment makes use of digital circuits. Though all the equipment is constructed in full respect for the regulations in force
concerning radio-disturbance emission, in certain circumstances it could cause disturbance or interference if positioned very close to ra-
dios, TVs, or similar devices. Should any problems of this type occur, move the disturbed devices further away from the system equip-
ment.
11. Use the system equipment only with accessories specified by RCF or supplied with the product.

OPERATING PRECAUTIONS

• Never force the control elements (keys, controls, etc.).
• For cleaning the equipment, do not use solvents, benzene, or other volatile substances.
