PRINTOUT OF ALARM EVENTS

This procedure makes it possible to display the alarm events that have occurred since the system was switched on, and can be used when
the PRINT MODE: REQUEST option has been selected in the PRINTER OPTIONS submenu of the SYSTEM configuration menu (see the
section USING THE "SYSTEM" MENU).
IMPORTANT NOTE
• If the PRINTER MODE: AUTO option is selected in the PRINTER OPTIONS submenu of the SYSTEM configuration menu, the printout of
the alarm events takes place automatically at the moment in which the alarm occurs, and ALARMS menu of the control unit shows: PRIN-
TER ALARMS AUTO.
After viewing the submenus of the ALARMS menu, press F1 to start the printout.

PRESS F1 TO PRINT CURRENT ALARMS
The printout of alarm events contains the following information.
• Date on which the alarm event occurred.
• Time at which the alarm event occurred.
• Device that activated the alarm. The abbreviations that may appear are:
– INPUT PROC. –
Indicates an IB 3210 / IB 3280 AUDIO INPUT board.
– OUTPUT PROC. - Indicates an OB 3230 AUDIO OUTPUT board.
– GPI ALARMS -
Indicates an IO 3250 digital INPUT/OUTPUT board.
– CONSOLE -
Indicates a BM 3616 digital console.
– ACU -
Indicates an RB 3300 back-amplifier board.
The related identification number is indicated next to the name of the device.
• Type of event that caused the alarm. The types that may be shown depend on the specific device.

PRESS F1 TO VIEW CURRENT ALARMS
For a detailed report on the current status of alarms related to the IB 3210 / IB 3280 AUDIO INPUT boards, from the ALARMS menu of the
control unit, use the ↑ / ↓ and/or pag ↑ / pag ↓ keys to move the selection point to the AUDIO INPUT PROCESSORS submenu and press
ENTER. The fields described below appear on the control unit display.
INPUT BOARD Indicates the identification number of the IB 3210 / IB 3280 AUDIO INPUT board (see the section CHARACTERISTIC PA-
RAMETERS).
REV
Indicates the software version of the AUDIO INPUT board.
DCI
Indicates an alarm caused by a communication problem between the board and the control unit. When the alarm is active,
the symbol X is shown in the field.
EEP
Indicates an alarm caused by a failure or defective operation of the board's EEPROM memory. When the alarm is active, the
symbol X is shown in the field.
RST
Indicates an alarm caused by the reset of the board microprocessor for reinitializing its operation ("watchdog" function).
When the alarm is active, the symbol X is shown in the field.
CFG
Indicates an alarm caused by an incomplete configuration of the board on the part of the control unit (e.g. the configuration
was interrupted by board removal). When the alarm is active, the symbol X is shown in the field.
KO
Indicates an alarm caused by the removal of the board (e.g. to repair it). In this condition, the board no longer communica-
tes with the CP 3100 control unit, and the control of all the other alarms causes is suspended. To use the previously remo-
ved board again, the system must be reconfigured as described in the section STORING A CONFIGURATION. When the
alarm is active, the symbol X is shown in the field.
To display the subsequent or previous IB 3210 / IB 3280 AUDIO INPUT boards, press the ↑ / ↓ and/or pag ↑ / pag ↓ keys.
