SYSTEM ALARMS OVERVIEW
EMERGENCY
FIREMAN
PRESS F1 TO VIEW CURRENT ALARMS
The FIREMAN submenu makes it possible to display the status of alarms controlled by means of the GPI inputs configured as FIREMAN (see
the section USING THE "GPI EVENTS DEFINITION" MENU). From the ALARMS menu of the control unit, use the ↑ / ↓ and/or pag ↑ / pag ↓
keys to move the selection point to the FIREMAN submenu and press ENTER. The fields described below appear on the control unit display.
GPI EVENT
Indicates the specific FIREMAN event; the system handles two events of this type.
ALARMS
This field indicates the status of the alarm: when the FIREMAN alarm is active, the symbol X is shown in the field.

The SYSTEM ALARMS submenu makes it possible to display in detail the current status of alarms related to components of the CP 3100
control unit. From the ALARMS menu of the control unit, use the ↑ / ↓ and/or pag ↑ / pag ↓ keys to move the selection point to the SYSTEM
ALARMS submenu and press ENTER. The fields described below appear on the control unit display.
COMPONENT
This field indicates the following components of the control unit.
• SOUND BLASTER - Indicates the audio board.
• COM1 PORT - Indicates serial port number 1.
• COM2 PORT - Indicates serial port number 2.
• COM3 PORT - Indicates serial port number 3.
• COM4 PORT - Indicates serial port number 4.
ALARM
This field indicates the status of the alarm: when the alarm is active, the symbol X is shown in the field.
To display the subsequent or previous components, press the ↑ / ↓ and/or pag ↑ / pag ↓ keys.
