PS 3400 POWER SUPPLIER

The PS 3400 is a stabilized multi-voltage direct current power supplier used for powering the following equipment of the system: BM 3616 di-
gital consoles, BM 3604 consoles, RB 3300 back-amplifier boards, IO 3250 digital INPUT/OUTPUT boards, IB 3210 / IB 3280 AUDIO INPUT
boards, OB 3230 AUDIO OUTPUT boards. It has the following features:
• output for stabilized voltage of 5 Vdc (max. 3 A).
• output for stabilized voltage of 12 Vdc (max. 3 A).
• output for stabilized voltage of 24 Vdc (max. 2 A).
• auxiliary relay, with one switching contact on terminal strip, controlled by the overheat protection circuit.
• possibility to connect multiple power suppliers in parallel.
• protection against short circuits on the outputs.
• LED indicators for 5V DC, 12V DC, 24V DC, OVERHEATING, ON.
• frame suitable for rack mounting (1 unit height).
• dual power supply in alternating current (115/230 Vac).
• removable terminal strip for connections.

ES 3000 EXTENDED SOFTWARE

The ES 3000 software can be installed on an external personal computer, IBM or compatible, with Microsoft Windows 95 or Windows 98 opera-
ting system, which further facilitates management of the RX 3000 system. The software makes it possible to carry out the following operations:
• creation of multiple configurations, which are stored in system folders on the configuration PC.
• transmission of the "EXE" files to the CP 3100 control unit, for updates on the system software.
• transmission of the configuration files to the CP 3100 control unit, to define a new system configuration.
• transmission of the "WAV" files to the CP 3100 control unit, to define new tones and/or messages (recorded, for example, on the configu-
ration PC by means of special programs).
• transfer of the configuration files of the CP 3100 control unit (for example, when technicians need to carry out a diagnosis).
transfer of tones and/or messages recorded on the CP 3100.
The personal computer can have any standard RS232 serial port (COM1 to COM4 port can be selected by means of the ES 3000 software).
The system configuration operations can be made on the configuration PC and subsequently transmitted to the CP 3100 control unit via
serial line.
All the system configuration operations are greatly simplified thanks to the graphics of Windows and the use of the mouse and keyboard.
