MB 3200 SUB-RACK

The MB 3200 sub-rack houses the various modules of the system. The following boards can be installed in the MB 3200:
• Four IB 3210 / IB 3280 AUDIO INPUT boards (for a total of 32 audio inputs).
• Eight OB 3230 AUDIO OUTPUT boards (for a total 64 audio outputs), or eight IO 3250 digital INPUT/OUTPUT boards (for a total of 128 op-
to-insulated inputs and 192 relay outputs), or eight OB 3230 AUDIO OUTPUT boards and IO 3250 digital INPUT/OUTPUT boards in com-
bination.
The MB 3200 has the following characteristics:
• 19" rack mount in 4 units.
• Front panel with indicators for the operating status of the boards installed.
• DIN standard connectors and guides for the electronic boards.
• Easy board installation thanks to quick connectors.
• Possibility to connect two or more MB 3200 sub-racks to the CP 3100 control unit.

IF 3260 CONNECTION PANEL

The IF 3260 panel enables the installation of the connection boards of the modules present in the MB 3200 sub-rack. It is situated on the back
of the rack enclosure, and has the following characteristics:
• 6-unit 19" rack panel in painted sheet metal.
• Possibility to install alternatively: 15 connection boards with 12 terminals each, 10 connection boards with 20 terminals each, or 5 connec-
tion boards with 32 terminals each.

IB 3210 / IB 3280 AUDIO INPUT BOARDS

The IB 3210 / IB 3280 boards enable the audio signal input. They have the following characteristics:
• 8 inputs that are balanced electronically (IB 3210) or with transformer (IB 3280).
• Trimmer for adjusting the treble tones (±12 dB at 10 kHz) and bass tones (±12 dB a 100 Hz) on each input.
• Possibility to exclude the tone controls via software.
• One status LED.
• Input signal gain adjustable via software.
• Audio monitoring that can be selected on each of the 8 inputs via software.
• High reliability thanks to the "watchdog" hardware which enables immediate recovery of normal operating conditions in the event of indu-
ced interference.
• Self-configuration of the boards installed.
• Setup configuration stored on the board for fast system startup.
• Two separate 12-terminal connection boards to be installed on the IF 3260 panel.

OB 3230 AUDIO OUTPUT BOARD

The OB 3230 board enables the audio signal output. It has the following characteristics:
• 8 balanced low impedance outputs.
• Board matrix with 32 inputs x 8 outputs.
• Output level adjustable via software.
• Configurable VOX device for connection and voice activation of one input with one or more outputs of the board.
• Audio monitoring that can be selected via software on each of the 8 outputs.
• Self-configuration of the boards installed.
• High reliability thanks to the "watchdog" hardware which enables immediate recovery of normal operating conditions in the event of indu-
ced interference.
• Setup configuration stored on the board for fast system startup.
• Automatic output channel scanning for detection of clipping and defective channels.
• 6 status LEDs.
• Separate 32-terminal connection board to be installed on the IF 3260 panel.

IO 3250 DIGITAL INPUT/OUTPUT BOARD

The IO 3250 board is equipped with programmable opto-insulated inputs (GPI inputs) and output relays, which makes it possible to control
various types of events. For example, the board makes it possible to use standard microphone consoles (e.g. BM 3604) for transmitting an-
nouncements or controlling the playback of messages pre-recorded on the control unit. This board is indispensable for connecting the system
with external devices such as lighting systems, alarm control units, or other devices controlled by contacts. It has the following characteristics:
• 16 opto-insulated inputs.
• 24 output relays.
• 6 status LEDs.
• Possibility to associate a certain output configuration with a combination of input contacts.
• High reliability thanks to the "watchdog" hardware which enables immediate recovery of normal operating conditions in the event of indu-
ced interference.
• Setup configuration stored on the board for fast system startup.
• Two separate connection boards, one with 32 terminals and one with 20 terminals, to be installed on the IF 3260 panel.

BM 3616 DIGITAL MICROPHONE CONSOLE

The BM 3616 is a table-top microphone console with gooseneck that can be used for making announcements in 16 audio zones or groups
of audio zones, with the possibility to activate a pre-announcement signal of 1, 2, or 3 tones (chime). The console can also be used for tran-
smitting audio signals (messages or tones) recorded on the CP 3100 control unit to the selected zones; along with playback, relays of the
