(17) CLEAR key
Used for clearing all the characters contained in the currently selected field.
(18) F1 - F2 - F3 - F4 keys
Keys for accessing the submenus of the unit; the specific function of each keys is indicated for each of the various menus.
(19) MENU key
Unusable in the present version of the equipment.
(20) ENTER key
Used for confirming the parameter set in a field.
(21) ESC key
Used for exiting from a menu/submenu and returning to the previous menu. Whenever parameters are modified, before proceeding you
are asked whether you want to save the new values or not.
(22) +/- keys
Used for selecting the various parameters indicated in the fields in rotation on the various menus of the control unit, and also for se-
lecting alphanumerical characters to use for entering names, numbers, abbreviations, etc.
(23) MUTE key
Used for enabling/disabling the MUTE function. When the MUTE function is enabled, the volume of the monitor speaker is set at zero
and LED (9) comes on; when the MUTE function is disabled, the volume of the monitor speaker returns to the previously set level, and
LED (9) goes off.
(24) Adjustment keys
These two keys have a dual function. When you access the menu that makes it possible to monitor the audio signals handled by the
system (see the section USING THE "MONITOR OPERATIONS" MENU), these keys are used for adjusting the volume of the monitor
speaker; press
to decrease the volume; press
sting the contrast of the LCD after key (8) has been pressed.
NOTE
• To carry out the adjustment, it is necessary to press and release each of the keys.
