INSERT BACKUP ACU
From the menu AUDIO PROCESS of the control unit, use the ↑ / ↓ and/or pag ↑ / pag ↓ keys to move the selection point to the ADJUST
AUDIO OUTPUT submenu and press ENTER. The fields described below appear on the control unit display.
OUTPUT NAME Indicates the name of the output to be adjusted. The names displayed are those associated to the various outputs by means
of the OUTPUT PROCESSORS configuration menu.
ATTEN dB
Used for attenuating the level of the signal in output. Use the + and - keys to set the level of attenuation between the va-
lues of 0 dB and -30 dB. The adjustment is made in 1 dB intervals and refers to a nominal output level of 0 dB with balan-
ced method.
IMPORTANT NOTES
• The balanced signals have an output level 6 dB higher than the unbalanced signals: for example, if you set an attenua-
tion of 0 dB, if the audio signal output takes place with the unbalanced method, the nominal level of the signal will be 0 dB; if the
audio signal output takes place with the balanced method, the nominal level of the signal will be +6 dB.
• We recommend that the RECORDER type output dedicated to driving the LINE IN input of the audio board be attenuated by
-6 dB.
To display the subsequent or previous outputs, press the ↑ / ↓ and/or pag ↑ / pag ↓ keys.

From the menu AUDIO PROCESS of the control unit, use the ↑ / ↓ and/or pag ↑ / pag ↓ keys to move the selection point to the INSERT
BACKUP ACU submenu and press ENTER. The fields described below appear on the control unit display.
ACU
Indicates the identification number of the A.C.U. This indication is sequential, and is related to the address assigned to the
A.C.U. in the installation phase: the number 1 corresponds to the A.C.U. with address 0; the number 120 corresponds to
the A.C.U. with address 119.
NOTE
• This field only shows the identification numbers of the A.C.U.s that have been configured by means of the dedicated me-
nu.
TYPE
Indicates the type of A.C.U. defined by means of the ACU configuration menu. The following types may be displayed:
• NORMAL -
• BACKUP -
GROUP
Indicates the group to which the A.C.U. belongs, defined by means of the ACU configuration menu. In the maximum con-
figuration, the system can handle up to 64 groups.

An A.C.U. whose function is to control a primary amplifier which is normally dedicated to sound amplifica-
tion in a certain audio zone.
An A.C.U. whose function is to control a backup amplifier which is normally used to substitute for a primary
amplifier, for example in the event of a fault.
