In the Diagnostic mode, the "Automated QC" function can be deactivated (see Chapter 8 'Device Con-
figuration'). In this mode, the EasyOne's determination of acceptability can be overridden by choosing
either KEEP or REJECT after the test. KEEP marks the test acceptable and REJECT marks the test unac-
ceptable.

9.3 Best Test Selection

In the system configuration the best value selection can be set to "Best Trial" or "Best Value". The two
settings are defined as follows:
Best trial: EasyOne-CS selects the best trial by searching the trial with the largest sum of FVC and
FEV1 (this is suggested by ATS and ERS). An acceptable test is always used ahead of an
unacceptable test.
Best value: The "Best" column shows the largest FVC (or FEV6) and the largest FEV1 from all accept-
able tests (unless all tests are unacceptable). All other parameters are taken from the
best trial (again defined by the largest sum of FEV1 and FVC).
