7.10 Searching for records

You can search for records by name or ID using Search in the View menu or by clicking on the corre-
sponding symbol in the toolbar. Entering part of a name or number is also possible (for example "Tho-
mas" is also found if you enter "Thom"). The search always begins at the current position.
You can continue the search by clicking on Find Next in the View menu.

7.11 Printing a test

Choose Print Preview in the File menu (or click or the corresponding symbol) to display a preview.
Choose Print in the File menu (or click on the corresponding symbol) to print the test. The type of print-
out depends on the EasyOne Device Configuration settings (see Chapter 8.4).

7.12 Exporting records

EasyWare supports the following data export formats:
Text export (CSV):
All Records
Text export (CSV):
New Records
Text export (CSV):
All Devices
GDT export
XML export (XML)
ATS/ERS export (CSV)
The files are exported to the folders defined in Properties in the File menu.
All records of the current instrument are exported as text files. CSV (Comma Sepa-
rated Values) is used as the data format. See Appendix B for details. The file names
are generated based on the instrument serial number and the record numbers.
New records of the current instrument are exported as text files. CSV is used as the
data format. See Appendix B for details. The file names are generated based on the
instrument serial number and the record numbers.
All records of all existing instruments are exported as a CSV text file. A test is shown
on one single line in the text file. This line contains the patient data and selected data
of the test.
A GDT file is generated on the basis of the selected record. GDT files are used for ex-
change with patient information systems.
The selected records are exported as XML files. The file names are generated based
on the instrument serial number and the record numbers.
The selected records are exported to a CSV file. The data format corresponds to the
ATS/ERS format (ATS/ERS Task Force: Standardization of Lung Function Testing. Eur
Respir J 2005; 26:319-338).
