Synchronization range
Records are within the synchronization range if their date is more recent or the same as the date of the
most recent record in the database.
Note
Note that the first synchronization operation for an EasyOne may take a relatively long time since, un-
der certain circumstances, many records may have already been saved in EasyOne.

7.2 PC database

A Microsoft Access-compatible database saves all data of an EasyOne record including curve data. The
default name of the database file is EasyWare.mdb. The path indicating where the file was saved can
be specified in the program properties (File menu / Properties).
The EasyOne database is normally synchronized automatically with the PC database. All records with a
red exclamation mark or a red database symbol are then saved in the database. It takes approx. 0.2
seconds to transfer one record.
After synchronization, the list of records is refreshed and only 'blue database symbols' or 'amber pa-
tient record symbols' are displayed.

7.3 Displaying patient data

Patient data can be displayed or edited using the Patient Data item in the Edit menu or using the
symbol in the toolbar. The following dialog box is displayed:
If the EasyOne is connected to the PC, patient data can also be edited on the instrument. The data in
EasyOne is updated automatically.
If using CardioSoft
TM
, patient data is transferred automatically to EasyWare. Patient data generated in
this way can neither be changed nor deleted in EasyWare or EasyOne-CS.

7.4 Entry of patient data

Choose New Patient in the Edit menu or use the
symbol in the toolbar to create a new patient record.
Enter the patient data and confirm the dialog box. A new patient record is now generated and is dis-
played at the top of the list.
If the 'Technician ID' option has been activated in EasyOne's Device Configuration settings (see Chapter
8.3 'System Configuration'), a corresponding ID can be entered.
Note that this function is available only if the EasyOne is connected to the PC.

TM
Also note that, if using CardioSoft
, patient data is entered in CardioSoft
and not in EasyWare.

7.5 Deleting records

Records can be removed from the database using Delete in the Edit menu. Selecting several records at
once (by using the Shift or Ctrl keys) also allows you to delete a range of records.
