< 15 bar; Three warning signals can be heard and the message
"Check gas supply" is displayed. Immediately replace the gas bottle.
If the gas cylinder pressure keeps falling, warnings will appear to remind the user
to replace the gas bottle immediately. At < 5 bar and again at 0 bar, 5 beeps will
sound and the display depicts "Check Gas Supply." Insufflation stops at 0 bar.
The following house gas supply pressures are displayed:
House gas supply pressure OK
(green)
House gas supply pressure too low
(red)
When the tube, Veress cannula, or trocar experiences a temporary blockage, Oc-
clusion is depicted. A warning signal (beep) is emitted. The actual pressure and
actual flow displays depict 0.
The acoustic message (warning beep) can be activated/deactivated in the config-
uration menu.
When fluid has penetrated the device via the insufflation tube connection, the
display depicts Contamination and 3 warning signals (beeps) are emitted.
Message is repeated with each START/STOP.
It is possible to conclude any currently ongoing surgery with this device. Insuffla-
tion is not possible after turning the device off and back on using the ON/OFF key.
This is to prevent cross-contamination.
The display depicts Contamination alternating with Call service if you are switch-
ing on an already contaminated device. The device can no longer be used. The
contaminated device has to be clearly marked as contaminated and sealed in two
separate protective layers of safety foil. Make sure the device can no longer be
used until a qualified service technician conducts the appropriate tests and re-
pairs.
CAUTION!
The venting valve is no longer available to reduce high pressures after a problem
with the venting valve has been detected.
With each START/STOP, a 3x warning signal and the message Venting valve de-
fect are repeated.
It is still possible to use the device but pay special attention to the pressure values
while this error persists. A service technician should check/repair the device after
the completed surgery.
If the power fails for less than 1 second, all settings are retained. If the power fails
for an extended time period, the device will function as it does when it is being
restarted.
If a device malfunction occurs that prohibits any further use of the device or di-
minished its safety, the display depicts only
