9.0 - TROUBLESHOOTING

CAUSE
Blades are worn
Some blades jammed in rotor
Air infiltration or leakage from system
Undulated cylinder
The cartridge filter is dirty
Reversing gear misplaced
Crash protection system (flange down) enabling see
section 3.9.2
Excessive pressure
Excessive revs rate
The cartridge filter is dirty
Excessive operating time
Blades too long
Lack of lubrication
Cooling system insufficient
Revs rate too low
Lubricating oil quantity too high/low and not
appropriate
Malfunctioning of valves
Excessive lubrication
Insufficient tightening
Air intake at pipe fittings
Lubrication tube badly inserted in pipe fittings
The oil pump chamber contains air
Broken blade
A foreign body has entered the Rotary blades
vacuum pump
The handle is badly positioned
The reversing gear is badly positioned
Rotary blades pump runs backwards
All blades jammed
Blades protrude from rotor slots anomalously
The rubber ball closes the overflow valve
[KPS] The plate is locked
Pump fills up of extraneous liquid
Inactivity
REMEDY
Replace blades
Disassemble the Rotary blades vacuum pump, clean
and wash the rotor, blades, body
Eliminate infiltrations
Smooth or replace the body
Follow the cleaning procedure
Remove reversing gear and position it correctly
Lift the flanges and tighten the flange screws with 55
Nm
Reduce pressure
Reduce revs rate
Follow the cleaning procedure
Reduce operating time
Trim blades to correct size
Check oil level in tank, the oil pump correct
functioning, the oil cock regulation
Adjust cooling system
Increase revs rate
Clean Rotary blades vacuum pump and replace oil
Check valves
Adjust lubrication
Tighten until there is no more leakage
Replace pipe fittings
Insert lubrication tube correctly
Full the pump chamber with oil
Replace blades (check if rotor pin is bent)
Remove foreign body
Position the handle correctly
Position the reversing gear correctly
Reverse direction of rotation
Disassemble the pump, clean and wash blades, rotor
and body
Disassemble the pump, clean and wash blades, rotor
and body
Increase passage of air inside valve
Unscrew the cap or vacuum adjustment valve where
present placed on the filter cover and move the plate
downward until releasing or unlocking it
Disassemble and clean with diesel
Lift the handle with a lever
