3. Inspect:
• Power trim and tilt relay operation
No continuity → Replace.
Inspecting steps
(1) Connect the tester between the power
trim and tilt relay terminals.
(2) Connect a 12-V battery as shown.
Sky blue (Sb) lead → Positive terminal
Black (B) lead → Negative terminal
Light green (Lg) lead → Positive terminal
Black (B) lead → Negative terminal
(3) Check that there is continuity between
the power trim and tilt relay terminals.
INSPECTING THE TRAILER SWITCH
CONTINUITY
Inspect:
• Trailer switch continuity
Out of specification → Replace.
