Quando si manipolano fitofarmaci, per

evitare avvelenamenti accidentali, si

dovrebbero prendere alcune precau-

zioni. É importante maneggiare que-

sti prodotti con estrema attenzione,

per ottenere buoni risultati e per

motivi di sicurezza.

Leggere sempre sull'etichetta del pro-

dotto, le istruzioni d'uso e come ap-

plicare i fitofarmaci nel modo più effi-

cace.

Durante l'uso di fitofarmaci, indos-

sare il seguente abbigliamento ed

equipaggiamento protettivo:

1) Tuta impermeabile a maniche lun-

ghe omologata a norma di legge.

2) Scarponcini antinfortunistici con

puntale in acciaio.

3) Guanti abbastanza lunghi da pro-

teggere i polsi.

4) Occhiali o schermo facciale.

5) Respiratore o casco protettivo con

filtro a carbone attivo.

Verificare sempre la data di

scadenza del filtro.

Il filtro del casco va sostituito

almeno una volta ogni anno e

comunque seguendo le indica-

zioni del corretto uso scritte

sul manuale del casco.

SAFETY DURING HANDLING

OF PLANT PROTECTION

PRODUCTS

When handling plant protection prod-

ucts, some precautional measures

should be taken.

It is important to handle plant protec-

tion products with utmost caution, both

to obtain good results and for safety

reasons.

Always read carefully the instructions

for use and how to apply the plant pro-

tection product in the most efficacious

way on the product label.

When using plant protection prod-

ucts, it is necessary to wear the fol-

lowing protection clothes and

equipment:

1) Type-tested waterproof overalls

with long sleeves conforming to the

safety regulations in force.

2) Protective shoes with steel tip.

3) Gloves, which should be long

enough to protect wrists.

4) Goggles or face shield.

5) Breathing device or protective

helmet with activated carbon filter.

Always check the expiry date

of filter. The helmet filter

should be changed once a

year at least and however

following the use istructions

indicated in the helmet

manual.

Quand on manipule produits phitosani-

tairs, au fin d'eviter empoisonnements

accidentaux, on devraient prendre des pré-

cautions. C'est très important manoeuvrer

les herbicides avec beaucoup d'attention,

à fin d'obtenir des bons résultats et pour

motifs de sécurité. Lire toujours sur

l'autocollant du produit les instructions

d'utilisation ainsi que la façon d'utilisation

et application des produits phitosanitairs

dans la manière la plus efficace.

Pendant l'utilisation des produits

phitosanitairs, endosser le suivant

habillement et équipement pro-

tecteur:

1) Salopette imperméable à longues

manches, homologuée aux termes

de la loi.

2) Godillots au niveau de protection

avec embout en acier.

3) Gants si longs pour permettre de

protéger les poignets.

4) Lunettes à écran facial.

5) Respirateur ou casque de protection

équipé de filtre à charbon actif.
