7.1. GENERAL MAINTENANCE
INSTRUCTIONS
DANGER - WARNING: Read this manual carefully
before servicing the machine.
Before servicing and or repairing opera-
tions, stop the tractor engine, remove the
ignition key and engage the parking brake.
Disengage the tractor PTO .
When servicing the machine with open tail
gate, fit the relevant safety catches to the
hydraulic jacks.
To prevent the hydraulic system of the baler from
being damaged, keep the hydraulic oil of the tractor
clean. Do not open or remove guards while the baler is
running.
A routine and correct lubrication keeps the baler in
perfect working order.
See paragraph 7.4 "Table of lubricants" showing prod-
ucts suitable for a correct machine servicing.
Important!
In order to avoid product clogging of the pick-up, care-
fully check each pick-up part:
– the teeth (must be intact and not misshapen);
– the condition of the cams;
– the condition of the teeth-holder tube ;
– the condition of the supporting bushes.
Such inspections should be daily performed.

NORMES GENERALES D'ENTRETIEN

DANGER - ATTENTION: avant d'effectuer les
opérations d'entretien il est impératif de lire
attentivement ce livret.
Avant d'exécuter des opérations d'entretien
et/ou des réparations, arrêter le moteur du
tracteur et retirer la clé de contact.
Débrayer la prise de force du tracteur.
Si on effectue des opérations d'entretien
avec la porte arrière ouverte, monter les
arrêts de sécurité prévus à cet effet sur les
vérins hydrauliques.
L'huile hydraulique du tracteur doit toujours être bien
propre pour qu'elle n'abîme pas l'installation hydrauli-
que de la presse. Ne pas ouvrir ni retirer les protec-
teurs quand la presse est en marche.

En ce qui concerne les produits nécessaires à l'entre-
tien correct de la machine, se reporter au paragraphe
7.4 "Tableau des lubrifiants".
Important!
Afin d'éviter tout noyage du ramasseur, il est néces-
saire de contrôler avec soin toutes les parties du
ramasseur:
– les dents (doivent être intactes et pas déformées);
– la condition des cames;
– la condition des tuyaux porte-dents;
– la condition des douilles de support.
Ce contrôle doit être fait une fois par jour.
