4.4. MACHINE HANDLING

DANGER!
Before transporting the machine, emp-
ty the petrol tank and close the tap to
avoid fuel from escaping ("Petrol Tap"
and "Petrol Tank Emptying" paragraph).
To load the machine and the tools and/
or accessories onto the van, use ramps
with an adequate maximum load for the
weight of the machine and the accessory
attached thereto. Refer to the "Machine
Specifications" paragraph and the specif-
ic tool and or accessory" paragraph.
If a crane for lifting is available, follow the
instructions in the "Lifting" paragraph. Do
not lift the machine with the accessories
and/or tools connected.
Park the machine following the instruc-
tions in the "Parking the Machine" para-
graph.
4.5. PARKING THE MACHINE
Always park the machine as indicated
in
[ fig. 07 ]
or with the accessory or tool
connected to ensure its stability.
Procedure:
1. Rest the front part of the machine on
the ground;
2. Using the adjustment lever [29]
bend the handlebar into the parking
position (nearer to the engine);
3. Lay the handlebar on the floor with
care. If necessary, wrap it in a cloth to
avoid scratches.
CARE!
Make sure that the parking brake [25] is
active and engaged.

derstand this User's Manual thorough-
ly. Pay particular attention to the safety
indications in the "Safety Instructions"
chapter.
