Steps:
1. Move the handlebar to the right side
of the machine;
2. Remove the rubber belt [a];
3. Fix the eyelet of the black cable to
the battery [c] using the screw [d], the
elastic washer [e] and the washer [f]
which are assembled on the battery;
4. Reposition the battery on its sup-
port;
5. Fasten the rubber belt [a].
5.4. PRELIMINARY CHECKS TO CARRY
OUT BEFORE EACH TIME THE ENGINE
IS STARTED UP
When the working day begins, before
starting the machine carry out the follow-
ing checks:
• Check all the safety devices are
working properly and check the pres-
ence and state of all the guards (see
the paragraph "Safety Devices" and
"Lids").
• Check that the pneumatic wheels
are inflated properly in accordance
with the specifications shown in the
"Machine Specifications" chapter.

If the check of the safety devices and
guards is negative, interrupt all the op-
erations.
5.5. REFILL THE PETROL TANK AND

ENGINE OIL

For transportation reasons, the tank is
empty and the engine is without lubri-
cating oil. Make sure that you put some
in before starting the machine.
Always use fresh, clean fuel (max three
months old) and adequate containers. Us-
ing non-conforming canisters or contain-
ers is not permitted.
Fill the tank as shown in
exceed this level when working on ground
that is not flat to avoid leaks from the cap.
Pay attention when handling flammable
liquids.
The fuel is highly flammable and explo-
sive in some circumstances.
