Always check that the wheels do not inter-
fere with parts of the machine.
INFORMATION:
The wheel is fixed by using four UNF
1/2" x 20 nuts Use the original fixing
systems of the specified dimensions.

5.2.2. SNOW CHAINS (OPTIONAL)

When working with snow chains fitted to
the wheels always make sure that there is
enough space between the chains and the
parts of the machine.

5.2.3. LIDS

DANGER!
Before each time you start the engine
make sure that the lids are properly fit-
ted. Replace the damaged parts.
DANGER!
Remove the lids only with the engine off and
do not start the machine before refitting them.
Handlebar supporting Lid
Before removing the handlebar supporting
lid [1] first remove the petrol tank cap [2]
as shown in
[ fig. 21 ]
DANGER!
Do not remove the tank cap [2] if the
tank is full or partially full and/or with
the engine running. Make sure that you
keep any possible source likely to trig-
ger the explosion away from the tank
[3] (heat source, electric material, etc.).
Thus exert pressure from below upwards
removing the coupling pins from the sup-
ports on the machine as shown in figu-
ra
[ fig. 22 ]
.
To couple the lid [1] lay it on the handlebar
support and once you have checked the
position of all the coupling pins to match
with the seat, press from the top down-
wards.
Check the lid to be correctly fitted verify-
ing the pins to be fully inserted.
Screw the fuel cap [2] back on.
Lower Lid
DANGER!
Do not remove the lower lid [7] if the
machine is on. Moving parts present!
