5.11. TURN OFF THE ENGINE
Recoil cord start version:
Position the accelerator lever [20] in the
idling position and wait for the engine to
stop.
Electric start version:
For versions with electric starting turn the
key [21] and turn it to the "STOP" position.

6. MAINTENANCE

In addition to observing the safety and
operational instructions it is just as impor-
tant to follow the following maintenance
instructions.

CARE!
Never carry out maintenance or clean-
ing operations with the engine on. Be-
fore working on the machine, always
remove the ignition key and/or spark
plug hood to prevent inadvertent or un-
expected starting.
CARE!
After the machine has come to a stop
cool the hot surfaces down for at least
15 to 20 minutes before approaching it.
CARE!
Always wear gloves, safety footwear,
glasses and use adequate lid during
maintenance of knives and/or other
sharp parts.
CARE!
Do not carry out repairs that entail
welding, drilling, grinding etc. on struc-
tural components and safety devices.
Only use genuine Eurosystems parts. All
the other parts on the market must corre-
spond with the technical and quality requi-
sites specified by Eurosystems.
