LOAD A PRESET FROM FILE
When the matrix is connected we can load previously created files, online and offline, containing the
configuration for a single preset.
1.- Open a new device tab by choosing the type of matrix, 8 or 16 channels, required.
2.- Connect a matrix by clicking on DEVICE LIST in the upper left corner and then pressing the CONNECT
button of the desired matrix. The configuration of the preset selected in the drop-down menu will be
automatically loaded
3.- To save the information on PC, press the
to save this configuration and finally select the file.
MODIFY A PRESET
Once the matrix is connected, we can modify the configuration of its presets.
There are 2 ways to do this:
OPTION 1 (recommended)
1.- Open a new device tab by choosing the type of matrix, 8 or 16 channels, required.
2.- Connect a matrix by clicking on DEVICE LIST in the upper left corner and then pressing the CONNECT
button of the desired matrix. The configuration of the preset selected in the drop-down menu will be
automatically loaded
3.- Once you have made the desired configuration, you will be asked for the preset number in which you
want to save it, regardless of the value in the drop-down menu. That is, you can select any existing
preset in the matrix as a starting point for your new configuration.
4.- When you have finished the configuration, to save the information in the matrix, press the
and indicate the preset of the matrix in which you want to store this configuration..
OPTION 2
1.- Open a new device tab by choosing the type of matrix, 8 or 16 channels, required.

SOUND BOARD
The NMX matrices integrate a sound board that provides one audio input and one audio output identified
in the software as USB. To make use of this functionality you will need to connect a USB-A to USB-A cable
from your PC or Mac to the USB port on the front panel of the matrix.
This functionality allows you to play audio from or record audio to your computer. This can always be done
with common playback or recording programs installed on your computer after selecting the RS SOUND
CARD as output (player) or input (recorder). To do this, it is only necessary to assign inputs to outputs in the
MATRIX tab of the software.
In addition, if the computer connected via USB cable has the control software (only available for Windows)
installed, you can make direct use of the player and recorder modules integrated in the control software.
