MENU BAR - SETTINGS
DEVICE SETTING**
This window provides basic information about the matrix.
-
DEVICE NAME: matrix name.
-
DEVICE IP ADDRESS: matrix IP address. This IP must be static and the matrix does not support HDCP
so you must ensure that the configured IP is not being used by another device on the network.
IMPORTANT: it's not the IP address of the Dante board (models NMX-88D and NMX-1616D).
-
GATEWAY: gateway of the matrix.
-
NETMASK: netmask.
-
MAC ADDRESS: MAC address of the network board in the matrix.
IMPORTANT: it's not the MAC address of the Dante board (models NMX-88D and NMX-1616D).
-
DEFAULT PRESET: preset to be loaded when the matrix is switched on. This may be one of the defined
or the last one loaded before shutdown (PREVIOUS LOADED PRESET).
-
SET UP REDUNDANCY: for mirroring function. This function allows a second matrix (SLAVE) to be set up
to take over in case of failure of the main matrix (MASTER). For more information go to OTHER TOOLS
- MIRRORING FUNCTION.
-
BACKUP DEVICE ID: (if SET UP REDUNDANCY is enabled) on the MASTER, the SLAVE IP address
must be set to take over if the MASTER fails.
-
CENTER CONTROL RESPONSE: shall be set to ON when remote control via commands is desired
with devices that require control responses. If OFF, the matrix will not respond when an instruction is
received.
-
POWER-OFF MEMORY: when enabled (ON) allows you to automatically save every change
you make even if you have not saved it in any preset. When you switch the matrix back on, this
configuration will be loaded into the software, but you should be aware that this configuration
is not stored in any preset, so if you load a preset into the software, the configuration will be lost.
When the matrix is switched on, the preset selector will indicate the preset set as the default preset,
although if this option is activated, the configuration shown on the screen will not be that of the default
preset until it is manually selected.
If the option is disabled (OFF), when the matrix is switched on again, the preset indicated as the default
preset is loaded with its configuration, ignoring the changes not
saved before switching off the matrix.
-
ENABLE MODEL SELECTION BOX: allows you to enable (ON)/
disable (OFF) the device selection window each time the software is
started. (Image on the right)
-
UDP CONTROL PORT: UDP port for remote communication with the
device.
-
RS-232, RS-485: parameters for connection via RS323 and RS485
serial communication.
