CONFIGURATION OF A GPIO OUTPUT
-
TRIGGER TYPE: determines the function that initiates an event on this GPIO output and this parameter
will also determine the options to be configured.
-
PRESET: initiates an event when a set preset is selected. The parameters to be configured are:
OUTPUT TYPE and PRESET.
-
LEVEL: initiates an event when the volume of a channel exceeds a defined threshold. The parameters
to be configured are: OUTPUT TYPE, CHANNEL and LEVEL.
-
MUTE: initiates an event when it copies the mute status of the predefined channel. The parameters
to be configured are: OUTPUT TYPE and CHANNEL.
-
OUTPUT TYPE: defines the signal voltage at the output when the event is triggered. OUTPUT HIGH
LEVEL the output voltage will be +5 VDC and OUTPUT LOW LEVEL the output voltage will be GND.
-
Configuration options depending on the value of CONTROL TYPE:
-
PRESET: (only for CONTROL TYPE: PRESET) indicates which preset will trigger the event.
-
CHANNEL: (only for CONTROL TYPE: LEVEL and MUTE) indicates which channel will trigger the
event. For the MUTE setting if muted the output will be the value set in OUTPUT TYPE, otherwise the
output will be the option not selected in OUTPUT TYPE.
-
LEVEL: (only for CONTROL TYPE: LEVEL) indicates the threshold level that will trigger the event.
GROUP SETTING
It allows you to group input or output channels to be able to modify the gain and apply MUTE together, the
rest of the parameters will be independent for each channel. Channels belonging to the same group shall
have the same colour on the fader for easy identification. To delete all existing groups press the CLEAR ALL
button.
This system allows up to 8 or 16 groups of inputs and 8 or 16 groups of outputs depending on whether the
matrix has 8 or 16 inputs and outputs (INPUTS and OUTPUTS tabs in this window). In the left part of the
window we see the groups and in the upper part the inputs or outputs of the matrix. To assign several entries
to the same group, you must select the checkboxes below the entry/output in the same row of the displayed
table. In the image below we see how inputs 1 and 2 are in group 1 and inputs 3 and 4 are in group 2.
To save the configuration press OK or CANCEL to keep the existing configuration and not save changes.
PRESET NAME**
The name of the presets can be changed to make them easier to use. Press OK to save the new name
directly in the matrix. For more information, see the PRESETS section.
PANEL SETTING
This option opens a customisation application to configure the NMX-WP wall panel options.
For more information see section NMX-WP WALL PANELS.
USER INTERFACE
This option opens a customisation application to configure the screens to be loaded via the APP on the
TAB-10-16 tablet. For more information see TAB-10-16, ANDROID TABLETS AND IPADS.
