Setting the bus terminator

No bus terminator is available.
Participant automatically recognizes if it is the last participant
on the INTERBUS S ring.
7.1.6

Configuring input/output modules

The I/O modules can now be configured as additional modules.
The module number sequence depends on the position of the
I/O module in the valve system. The first input module is the one
that is directly mounted on the bus coupler. It has the module
number M1. The input modules are numbered from the bus
coupler toward the outside.
Assign the module numbers to the existing/installed input/
O
output modules.
A maximum of 6 input and/or output modules total can be
connected on the valve system. Observe the maximum
current load!
7.1.7

Address assignments

To be able to activate specific valves, it is necessary to allocate
the bits of a PLC output to the individual valve positions on the
valve system. Examples for this assignment are found in
Tab. 15 on page 84 and Tab. 16 on page 85.
Single solenoid valves only use solenoid 14.
The bit number corresponds to the M8 connectors on the input
modules.
If the PLC address E2 (I2) is allocated to an 8x input module, bit
E2.2 reads input 2 of input module 2 with the address E2 (I2).
Input 0 corresponds to bit 0.
