6.5.2 Connecting the module extensions
The module extensions
W
R412008690 with 8 valve outputs D-SUB, 25-pin,
W
R412008691 with 16 valve outputs D-SUB, 25-pin and
W
R412008692 with 8 valve outputs 4xM8, 3-pin,
are controlled by the bus coupler like valve outputs.
Observe the connection conditions in these
instructions (see Tab. 8, Tab. 9 and Tab. 10 on
pages 82 and 83). Further information can be found
in the operating instructions for the bus coupler.
W
The module extension R412008694 with relay
function is supplied with 24 V control voltage via an
additional power pack.
Connecting the module extension R412008694 with relay
function electrically:
Electric shock hazard from unsafe power supply
isolations
The 24 V supply must come from a separate power
pack with safe isolation for module extensions with an
external load supply (AUX). An unsafe power pack
isolation can damage the system and cause injuries
arising from electric shock.
O Only use a power pack with safe isolation according to
DIN EN 60742, classification VDE 0551! This ensures
that the electric circuits comply with SELV/PELV
electric circuits in accordance with IEC 60364-4-41.
Observe the connection conditions in these
instructions (see Tab. 11 on page 84)
O
Connect the power pack to the module extension
