5.2 Device components

5.2.1 Module extensions B-design

4 different versions of module extensions for installation on
W
the valve systems HF04 and HF03 LG or
W
a Stand-Alone system end plate without VS
are available.
The module extensions are listed in Table 5:

16 outputs with D-SUB connection socket to control
connected valves
8 outputs with D-SUB connection socket to control
connected valves
4x2 outputs with M8 connection socket to control
connected valves
2 outputs, galvanically isolated, relay switching
function
The module extensions can only be used in conjunction
with a suitable bus coupler, type B-design.
The possible combinations are shown for the installation
with VS in Fig. 2: on page 64 and for the Stand-Alone
system in Fig. 3: on page 65.
The Stand-Alone system is only supplied complete.
The order number is determined using the
configurator.
The address of the bus coupler is set at the bus coupler
(see the bus coupler operating instructions).
Up to 12/16 double or 24/32 single solenoid valves or a
suitable combination of double and single solenoid valves
can be controlled.
The maximum number of controllable valves depends on
the bus coupler (24 or 32 valve driver) and the respective
module extension combination (max. three modules).
