11.9 Child safety

The radiant elements can be deactivated. Turn the first
two knobs on the left anticlockwise simultaneously and
keep them in this position for least 2 seconds, until all the
displays show symbol .
After a few minutes the symbols
radiant elements will not activate and the above-mentioned
lock symbols appear on all displays if any knob is turned.
The deactivation has no time limit. A prolonged power failure may cancel this deactivation.
To reactivate the radiant elements, turn the first two knobs on the left anticlockwise simultaneously.

11.10 In the event of faults and failures

If a defect is noticed, switch off the appliance and turn off the electrical supplying.
Do not attempt to use a faulty radiant element until it is repaired by the authorised Technical
Support Service.
Any repairs must be carried out exclusively by qualified personnel. Do not open the appliance
for any reason.
If the glass surface is damaged, switch off the appliance immediately to prevent the risk of electric
shocks and contact the Technical Support Service.
If a radiant element is faulty, the remaining elements can still be used normally.
To clear the error code from the displays, set all the knobs to "0" position and set new power values.
The following list (page 378) includes the most frequent failures, the causes of which can be
removed by the user or via the Technical Support Service.
