As well as respecting requirements provided for by local user environmental norms, the Manufacturer also recommends
use in:
- an environment whose shortest side is no less than 2.50 m (optimal: 3.30 m).
- an environment with a washable floor which is resistant to collisions and chemical agents, for example porcelain stone
set without any space between the tiles and, if possible, with a rounded attachment to the vertical walls to facilitate
cleaning.
- an environment with walls coated at a height of 2.00 m with washable and chemical agent-resistant materials.
- a well-lit environment with two double fluorescent lighting fixtures, a 5500°K daytime lighting, with breakers and
attachments set longitudinally along the longer side of the dental chair.
Before installing the dental unit, the owner of the dental practice must verify the presence of adequate piping for water
and compressed air supply, for water draining and centralised suction (if required), as well as the presence of an
adequate electrical power system and, if necessary, the owner must create these aforementioned systems, following
instructions described in the installation plan in 1:1 scale Code 97042074 and Code 97042075 (only for ambidextrous
version - provided upon request), in accordance with the information provided in the "System, Environmental, and Power
Supply Conformity" table and in accordance with the information provided in the Technical Manual Code
97071125-00-GB.
The following operations must be performed once the equipment has been installed and before first use:
Instrument sterilisation (see "Operating Instruments").
Sterilisation or disinfection of all sterilisable components which have been supplied unsterilised and disinfection of
upholstery and all parts that normally come into contact with the patient (see "Cleaning, Disinfection and
Sterilisation").
Carrying out of a disinfection cycle in the spray tubes, with a contact time (CT) of 10 min. (See "Autosteril and
TIME FLUSHING").
Application of disposable protective coverings where indicated.
Check the proper tightening of milling cutter and instrument attachments (see "Operating Instruments").
Respect all hygiene and professional good practice guidelines to ensure safe use of this equipment.
The following aspects are also emphasised:
- Powder and material fragments (organic and inorganic powders, metal dusts, liquids, fluids and potentially infectious
biological materials) may be released from the patient's oral cavity or from the equipment itself during use: It is
recommended that the user protect eyes, respiratory system, mouth and skin wearing protective glasses, a full
face shield, a mask and disposable gloves as well as the use of the suction unit during all operations that may
generate airborne materials, powder and aerosol.
- During use, materials and microorganisms from a patient can penetrate the internal tubing and be expelled onto the
next patient and into the surrounding environment The passive protection system present in this equipment
(No-retraction system, Barrier Effect, etc.) minimises but cannot completely exclude this risk: It is recommended
that an Autosteril decontamination cycle be performed on the spray instrument tubes at the beginning
of each working day and after use with each patient.
- This device includes exposed sharp parts and tips (milling cutters and other tools for rotating instruments, scaler tips,
etc):
Use with caution to avoid any cuts or accidental punctures.
Avoid leaving sharp and/or pointed parts assembled when the machine is left unattended.
autoclave a vapore d'acqua max 135°C
- It is recommended that the hygiene maintenance procedures indicated in the "Cleaning, Disinfection, and
Sterilisation" paragraph in this manual be applied regularly.
- The use of drinking water for the powering of sprays is not recommended as it can cause the formation of biofilm
inside the tubes and, consequently, facilitate bacteria build up inside the dental unit.
It is recommended that sprays be powered exclusively with appropriate liquids (Isotonic Saline Solution or
Purified Water F.U.) using a separate power supply system.
