Routine checks and maintenance ensure that the equipment preserves its functional and safety features and are the
user's responsibility.
In addition to routine maintenance, periodic scheduled maintenance must be performed by a Castellini Service Center,
which must be called by the user at the intervals indicated in the Chapter on Schedule Technical Maintenance.
CHECK ON CRUSH-PREVENTION SYSTEMS

Check on chair lowering anti-crush safety

system
Activate
the
chair
simultaneously press the safety base plate; the chair
should come to an immediate stop and rise a few
centimetres

Check on backrest reclining anti-crush safety
-
system
Activate
the
backrest
simultaneously block its way; the backrest should
immediately stop moving

Check on Assistant's Tray anti-crush system
Activate the backrest raising control and
simultaneously lift the handle of the assistant's tray;
the backrest should come to an immediate halt and
move down a few centimetres
Should any of these systems fail to perform
efficiently, contact the Castellini Service Dept.
GENERAL AIR FILTER
The general air filter keeps back dust and separates the
pneumatic supply condensation. The level of condensed
liquid must not reach the filter (1).
To drain condensation:
Bring the chair up to its maximum height
Switch-off the dental unit using the main switch
Place a container under the filter
Unscrew the drainage valve (2) and drain the
condensation
Warning: the transparent cruet is not alcohol-resistant.
Replace the filter once per year.
