PREFACE
The periodic maintenance programme, in accordance with that established in Directive 93/42/EEC – and subsequent
amendments made – (ECC Directive 2007/47), enclosure I, point 13.6, paragraph d contains "
the nature and the frequency of operations necessary to ensure the proper working function and safety of this
equipment
".
The manufacturer requires that scheduled maintenance and/or procedures of technical assistance to be performed on
this equipment be carried out by qualified personnel in possession of a valid, "Authorised Castellini Technician" license.
Within the applicable context of Community Directive 93/42/EEC – and subsequent amendments made – (ECC Directive
2007/47), Castellini S.p.A, guarantees the maintenance of safety, reliability, and performance requirements as indicated
by the CE marking only if procedures of maintenance and technical assistance are performed by specially-trained
personnel, authorised and updated by Castellini or in possession of a vaild "Authorised Castellini Technician" license.
Maintenance and technical assistance procedures carried out by personnel different than described above is considered
to be use not in conformity with the instructions provided by the manufacturer and as a result compromises the essential
safety requirements established in Directive 93/42/EEC – and subsequent amendments made – (ECC Directive 2007/47),
with the consequent forfeiture of the CE marking listed on the device as well as all terms of warranty (see point A, letter
2 of the Conditions of Warranty) and, if applicable, the powers of responsibility established by Directive 1999/374/EC.
If scheduled maintenance or technical assistance procedures are carried out by personnel not in possession of the
"Authorised Castellini Technician" license, the safety of the device is NOT GUARANTEED BY CE MARKING and the user
will be operating a product that is not in compliance with current law that apply to it as required by Legislative Decree
81/08 and/or other applicable European directives.
The manufacturer requires that periodic scheduled maintenance be performed according to the terms indicated below,
in order to maintain all certifications of the device and responsibility of the manufacturer with respect to the product's CE
marking.
The periodic scheduled maintenance times are indicated in the table of periodic checks enclosed with the manual.
1.
The owner of the device is responsible for contacting the technician.
2.
The technician who performs the scheduled maintenance must correctly and truthfully fill out the periodic check
table. The technician must then sign and stamp the table, in this way, assuming all responsibility;
3.
The periodic checks table must remain attached to this manual and constitutes proof of the checks performed;
4.
The owner of the device is responsible for preserving all technical documentation relating to each intervention and
this documentation must be produced upon request.
5.
Each scheduled maintenance intervention will entail payment of hourly labour, the technician call and the
replacement of worn parts in accordance with current, applicable contractual conditions.
6.
If, during the periodic scheduled maintenance checks, any problems are detected, the technician will proceed with
the repairment or replacement of the worn or broken parts.
Note: THE MANUFACTURER REQUIRES A GENERAL REVISION OF THE TURBINES THREE YEARS AFTER INITIAL
INSTALLATION. THE DEVICE MUST BE SENT TO CASTELLINI S.p.A's CENTRAL HEADQUARTERS FOR REVISION (Via
Saliceto, 22, 40013 Castel Maggiore (BO)). THIS REVISION MUST BE REPEATED EVERY THREE YEARS.
