CLEANING, DISINFECTION AND STERILISATION
Unit Hygiene Procedures and Schedule
Virkosept™
disinfectant solution, for daily use.
Apply to a disposable cloth and delicately wipe the surfaces to be cleaned. Remove any
remaining residue with a dry cloth.
Note: To avoid the formation of stains and marks that will be difficult to remove, immediately
clean the upholsteries whenever they come into contact with coloured substances of
any type. It is recommended that upholsteries be covered with disposable protective
covers (not supplied with unit).
Clean and decontaminate with Castellini

Apply with a saturated cloth, let sit and then wipe dry with a disposable dry cloth.
Note: Do not apply product directly to the surfaces. Instead, always apply the product to a
cloth first to avoid the formation of stains and rings

Warning: Contact with silicon materials for impressions may cause irreversible damage to the
flexible protections and instrument cords
Disinfect with 70% v/v ethyl alcohol; sterilise in a steam autoclave at max. 135°C.
To whiten the flexible protection:
- Prepare a solution of 0.1 ÷ 0.5 % active chloride, (for example
Chloride diluted in water or 10% commercial bleach diluted in water).
- Immerse the components to be whitened in the solution and soak for 1 - 2 hours.
- Remove and rinse thoroughly.
Note: At the end of treatment the component may appear darker temporarily but after a few
hours of air exposure the surface's natural colour will return. This treatment also has a
disinfecting effect.
Warning:
When the liquid comes into contact with acids, it releases a toxic gas (Chloro).
Thoroughly rinse the materials treated before reusing them.
With an anti-incrusting agent for domestic use applied with a soft sponge.
In a suitable steam autoclave at max. 135°C.
Clean and decontaminate with Castellini
Disinfect with 70% v/v Ethyl Alcohol.
Sterilise in a steam autoclave at max. 135°C.
Clean with neutral liquid detergent (neutral shampoo) and hot water.
Warning: The cruet material is not alcohol-resistant.
