During use dust and fragments from the patient's oral cavity or from the same device may be projected into the
environment (organic and inorganic dust and metal dust, fragments of the device or its tips and potentially
infected biological material)
- Protect the patient, when possible, by way of the use of the dam.
- Instruct the patient to breathe with the nose in cases where the dam is not applicable.
- Medical personnel must put on suitable personal protection equipment.
Suitably cool the surgical field during use.
In case of visible damage, the emission of unusual noises and/or vibrations or if overheating is noticed, do not
use the device and call authorised technical service assistance.
Before use verify that the burr is seated tightly. If the burr does not seat properly DO NOT use the instrument.
Use only burrs with a standard shaft diameter (1.590 ÷ 1.600 - ISO 1797-1)
Do not use worn or damaged burrs. Handle the burr with care; wear protective gloves.
The stop burr button overheats if pressed during the operation of the turbine.
Be extremely careful to not inadvertently push it against the oral cavity of the patient.
Use only burrs with the CE Mark of compliance with 93/42/EEC Directive made with biocompatible materials in
compliance with IEC 10993-1 Regulations.
Use only original spare parts and accessories, or those authorised by the manufacturer.
Make sure that during operation of the motor there is full flow of the cooling air over the surgical field. In
absence of cooling stop using the device and call authorised technical service assistance.
LED radiation – Do not point the ray directly toward the naked eye nor look directly into it with optical
instruments. Class 1M LED device.

CONNECTION TO THE POWER SUPPLY CABLE
Silent Power Gold 2 and 2L

Position the turbine on the hose and tighten down the ring nut.
Silent Power Gold, Miniature and 4L
2)
The turbine must be connected to the hose using the bayonet connection.
Position the bayonet connection on the hose and tighten down the ring nut.
Lubricate the "O-Rings" with the "S1" silicone lubricant and insert the turbine until the hook up "click" is heard.
To detach the device from the connector pull lightly.
BURR ATTACHMENT
Pressure in the centre of the button on the head is sufficient to enable the insertion and detachment of the burrs.
Releasing the button the burr is locked in. Check and verify that the burr has been inserted completely and is tightly
seated, pulling on it with two fingers. Do not activate the burr release until the turbine has stopped completely so as to
avoid serious damage too the burr chuck mechanism.
SETTING OPERATIONAL PARAMETERS
Speed adjustment, adjustment of the spray and lighting activation (if available) are to be had through the dental unit
commands. Refer to the dental unit instruction manual for the setting of the operational parameters.
