SETTING OPERATIONAL PARAMETERS
After having connected the handpiece to the hose and activated the fibre optic,
select the time desired by repeatedly pressing button 2. The lighting of the 3 LED
indicates the time selected.
Prolonged pressure on button 2 doesn't cause the scrolling of times but activates
the curing light increase mode for lighting intensity, indicated by the lighting of
LED 4.
Pushing it again with a prolonged pressure, the half power function is activated,
indicated by the intermittent flashing of the LED 4.
To return to the standard operational mode, press and hold down button 2 until
LED 4 shuts off.
OPERATION
To activate the curing light push the button 1. Pressing the button and holding it down the targeting light is turned on;
upon its release the light emission is at full power and the operation time count down begins.
During its operation an acoustic signal (1 beep) at 5-second intervals is emitted.
The lamp turns off automatically ant the end of the time set, emitting an acoustic signal (3 beeps in rapid succession).
It is possible to turn the lamp off before the time set runs down by pressing the 1 button again.
A safety system stops operation if the anticipated operational cycle has been exceeded. To continue working, it is
necessary to stand by for the lamp to cool.
When the instrument is no longer usable due to having achieved maximum limits, the lighted LED warning lamps will
begin to flash.
MAINTENANCE
The manufacturer requires the annual check or overhaul of the device on the part of authorised service assistance.
CLEANING, DISINFECTION AND STERILISATION
Before sanitisation operations, detach the fibre optic and the screen from the handpiece and the handpiece from the
hose.
The device, except for the fibre optic, MAY NOT BE sterilised in the autoclave.
To maintain a level of hygienic security, at the end of each use and within a short time, clean, disinfect and, if
applicable, sterilise the outside of the device and the screen, using gauze or cotton soaked in 70% v/v. ethyl alcohol.
The operation must be performed with the device cold, avoiding that liquids penetrate inside of the handpiece.
Clean the fibre optic of any residues of the reconstruction materials avoiding the use of sharp or pointed tools that could
damage its surface.
The optical fibre is sterilisable in a steam autoclave at max. 135°C, 220 kPa (2.2 bar) for 5 minutes (250 cycles tested).
Do not use ultrasound cleaners.
Do not immerse the device in disinfectant or sanitizing solution.
Periodically check the autoclave according to the requirements of the manufacturer.
Sterilisation temperatures greater than the indicated limit may damage the fibre optics.
REPAIRS AND OVERHAULS
Installation, overhaul, calibration and repair of the device must be performed by technical service personnel authorised
by the manufacturer.

The method of application of the device is intermittent. The operational cycle indicated respects the following times:
