CONVERSION OF THE UNIT FROM RIGHT-HANDED TO LEFT-HANDED CONFIGURATION
The ambidextrous version of the unit is fitted with a manual mechanical system for the
transformation of work layouts for both right- and left-handed dentists.
The operations required for the abovementioned conversion consists in 5 steps.
Phase 1 – Preparation for conversion
Position the unit chair at about half of its stroke in height.
Bring the backrest to a fully vertical position.
Turn off the mains switch.
Disassemble the chair upholstery (1 - fig. 23) detaching the two rear tear-off fasteners
and having it slip forward.
Remove the suction terminals from the assistant table and disconnect the relative hoses
from the dental unit body to avoid tangling during the conversion procedure.

Phase 3 – Rotation of the instrument table
From the centre of the chair pull the dental unit towards yourself.
Once the dental unit body has passed the halfway point of the chair, bring the
instrument table to the opposite side of the water group taking care to keep the arms
gathered so as to avoid imbalances in the dental unit (fig. 24).
Phase 4 – Rotation and locking of the water group
Complete the rotation of the dental unit body bringing it to the end of its stroke (fig.
25) and verify that the stop pin (2 – fig. 23) has entered into its seat.
Replace the suction terminals in their respective seats then insert the fittings on the
other end of the tubes into the water unit.
Phase 5 – Assembly of chair upholstery and table positioning.
Push the dentist table away from the chair.
Bring the leg rest back to its position.
Reassemble the chair upholstery
Reassemble the cuspidor fountain

Phase 2 – Unlock dental unit.
Fold the leg rest toward the backrest
(1 – fig. 23).
Unlock the anti-rotation lock by pulling
on the knob (2 – fig. 23) and, at the
same time, partially rotate the arm (1
– fig. 23) and the dental unit body to
keep the pin unlocked.
