Preventive Maintenance, Cleaning, and Disinfection
WARNING: Do not sterilize the program unit or the transmitter, or immerse them in any liquid. Do not
allow liquid to enter the transmitter.
With general care and handling, the program unit and transmitter are virtually maintenance free. The user must do
the following:
1.
Check the equipment covers and interconnecting leads before each use. If damage is present, do not use;
return the equipment for service (see Service and Repair).
2.
After each use and before storing, disconnect the program unit from the power supply and clean the program
unit, the transmitter feet, and the transmitter center rod with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Dry with a
clean cloth.
To disinfect, wipe down the entire system and cables with 70% isopropyl alcohol and a clean cloth.
If the equipment does not operate, return the system for service (see Service and Repair).
