Because the bus coupler operates exclusively as a slave module, it must be assigned an address
in the fieldbus system.
The bus coupler address may be set between 0 and 63. The MAC ID is preset at address 63.

Switch NA1: The tens digit of the address is set on switch NA1. Switch NA1 is labeled using
the decimal system from 0 to 9.

Switch NA2: The units digit of the address is set at switch NA2. Switch NA2 is labeled using
the decimal system from 0 to 9.

Proceed as follows during addressing.
1. Disconnect the bus coupler from the power supply UL or turn off the 24 V voltage
of the DeviceNet bus.
2. Set the station address at the switches NA1 and NA2 (see Fig. 5):
– NA1: tens digit from 0 to 9
– NA2: units digit 0 to 9
Steps 1 and 2 can also be performed in the reverse order.
3. Reconnect the power supply UL or the 24 V voltage of the DeviceNet bus. The system will
be initialized using the address defined on the bus coupler.
When the switch settings and the address in the PLC configuration program do not match,
the MNS LED flashes red.
