7.2.7 Setting the Positions with the V810 Control Panel

Setting the reference position
Prerequisite!
The code number for the Technician Level is entered. See Chapter 7.2.6
–
Press the "E" key. The first parameter of the technician level "F-100" is shown.

Enter the parameter "F-170" with the keys "+", "-" and ">>" keys .

Press the "E" key. The display shows = "Sr1 (o)".

Press the ">>" key. The display shows = "PoS0 o" (the "o" character rotates).
–
Turn the handwheel in the normal direction of rotation until the rotating character
"o" in the display disappears, then continue turning until the reference position
(handwheel in position "F") is reached .

Press the "P" key. The reference position is saved and the current parameter
number is shown.

If the error message "A3" appears, the setting must be repeated.
–
Press the "P" key, the programming at the technician level is ended.
Setting positions 1 and 2
Prerequisite:
The reference position is set and the code number for the Technician Level is entered
(see above).

Enter parameter "F-171" .

Press the "E" key. The display shows "Sr2 (o)".
–
Press the ">>"key. The display shows "P1E xxx" (xxx= parameter value of the
position 1E).
–
If necessary, correct the parameter value *. Either with the "+" or "-" key or by
turning the handwheel to position "F".

Press the "E" key. The display shows "P2E xxx" (xxx = parameter value of the
position 1A).

If necessary, correct the parameter value *. Either with the "+" or "-" key or by
turning the handwheel.

Press the "E" key. The display shows"P2A xxx" (xxx = parameter value of the
position 2A).

ATTENTION!
The changed parameter values are only then saved to
memory, when, after exiting the programming level, a
complete seam is sewn, that is, step the pedal forward and
then completely back.
When, after exiting the programming level, the drive is
immediately shut off, the changes are lost.
