3. Assembling the Stand

3.1 Assembling the Stand Parts

Assemble the individual parts of the stand as shown in the illustration.

Push on the enclosed four stand feet 6.
–
Loosen the screws 5 on both sides of the cross braces 7 slightly and assure a firm
positioning of the stand.
The stand must touch the floor with all four feet!

Tighten screws 5 again.
–
Screw the holder 8 for the oil can onto the left leg of the stand.

3.2 Completing the Table Top and Attaching to the Stand

3.2.1 Machines without Edge Trimmer

(Classes 271-140341, 271-140342, 271-140442, 272-140341, 272-140342,
273-140342, 274-140342)

Fasten table top 12 with wood screws (B8 x 35) onto the stand.
The alignment on the stand is shown in the dimensions given in the sketch.

Insert the machine head support 15 into the drilled hole in the table top.
–
Insert the rubber rests 14 for the machine head into the recesses in the table top 12.
–
Insert the rest plugs 13 and push on the compression springs.
–
Screw in the drawer 11 with its mountings at the left under the table top.
–
Screw on the cable duct 10 at the back under the table top.
–
Mark the positions of the screw connections of the oil baffle 2 with a center punch
and fasten with wood screws under the table top cutout.

Insert yarn stand 1 into the drilled hole in the table top and fasten with nuts and
washers.
Attach and align the yarn spool holder and yarn guide arm.
The yarn spool holder and yarn guide arm must lie parallel above one another.
