7.1.2 Reducing the Maximum Speed at the DA220C controls

In order to optimally set the maximum speed of the machine to the current individual
application, a reduction of the maximum speed is possible.
During sewing and when the machine is stopped the maximum speed is shown in the
display. The indicated 3-digit value must be multiplied by 10. During the display of the
maximum speed it can be changed by pressing the "+ / -" keys. The setting range lies
between the parameter values F-111 (maximum value) and F-121 (minimum value). See
Chapter 7.1.4 and 7.1.6.
Note! There are two settings for the maximum speed: The value of the parameter 111
and the reduction of the maximum speed through the "+/-" keys. The lower value always
has priority! When the maximum speed has been reduced with the "+/-" keys, an
increase of the parameter value 111 only becomes effective after the reduction has
been cancelled through pressing the "+" key during sewing.
Attention! The maximum speed (value of the parameter 111) should be set not higher
than is listed in the parameter sheet (in the accessories pack) for each class and
subclass.
