Setting and function
–
After the mains are turned ON the feed roller is raised. The LED 5 is lit and thus
shows the readiness of the feed roller, that is, that the feed roller will be lowered
during the following seam.

Through operation of the key 4 the LED 5 is turned off and thereby also the
readiness of the feed roller, that is, the feed roller will not be lowered during the
following seams.

Through a further operation of the key 4 the LED is turned on again and thus also
the readiness of the feed roller.

At the seam beginning, a stitch count "z1" is started (only if the feed roller is in
readiness). When the beginning bartack is activated, the stitch count is started
after the beginning bartack.

When the set number of stitches "z1"(Setting values see Parameter table 6.13.3
line B) is reached, the feed roller is lowered. If the stitch count "0" is set, the feed
roller is lowered immediately with the start of the seam.

By operating the key 4 during the stitch count "z1" the count procedure is ended
and the feed roller is immediately lowered.

If the sewing foot is lifted when the feed roller is lowered (via the pedal in -1
position), then the feed roller is also raised. After the lowering of the sewing foot
the stitch count is started and the feed roller is lowered when the set number of
stitches (Setting see Parameter sheet 6.13.3 line B) is reached. When the stitch
count is set at "0" the feed roller is lowered at the same time as the lowering of the
sewing foot. By operating the key 4 during the stitch count the count procedure is
ended and the feed roller is immediately lowered.

When a manual bartack is sewn with the feed roller lowered, the feed roller is
raised during the reverse sewing. After the end of the manual bartack the feed
roller is lowered.

At the beginning of the end bartack or of the thread trimming the feed roller is
raised.

The operational readiness of the feed roller can also be turned off during sewing
through operation of key 4 and turned on again through another operation of the
key. The LED 5 indicates the operational readiness.
