"Automatic Edge Trimmer" function module
–
Set the "Automatic Edge Trimmer" function module. Setting value see Parameter
table line A)
–
After the mains are turned the edge trimmer is activated, the edge knife is up, the
LED X blinks. The blinking of the LED X indicates that an automatic switching on of
the knife during sewing is to occur with a stitch count "z1".
–
By operating the key Y before starting a seam the edge trimmer is deactivated, the
LED is dark.
–
A further operation of the key Y before starting a seam will activate the edge
trimmer again and the LED blinks.
–
The stitch count "z1" for the switching on of the edge trimmer starts with the seam
beginning, the LED blinks.

After completion of the stitch count("z1) the edge trimmer is turned on and the LED
is lit. (Setting value of the stitch counter see Parameter table line B)

If the stitch counter "z1" is set to "0", then the edge trimmer turns on with the first
stitch of the needle.

During the stitch count "z1", the stitch count can be ended and the edge trimmer
immediately turned on through operation of the key Y.

With the activation of the edge trimmer the stitch count("z2") for the turning-off
starts. The LED blinks and thereby indicates that an automatic turning-off of the
edge trimmer is to occur. (Setting value of the stitch counter see Parameter table
line C).

If the stitch counter "z2" is set at "0", then no automatic turning-off of the edge
trimmer occurs.

During the stitch count "z2", the stitch count can be ended and the edge trimmer
immediately turned off through operation of the key Y.

A parameter (Setting value see Parameter table line D) establishes if the next
seam after the thread trimming is conducted with or without edge trimming.
