Troubleshooting
If the coffee maker is not working properly, you can use the table below as a
reference to isolate and correct the problem.
SYMPTOM

WHAT TO DO
►
Switch off the power to the coffee maker for ten seconds,
and switch the power back on. In some cases (pod jam),
this will clear the error.
►
Connect the programmer to the coffee maker to check
the status. See the table above for the action required.
►
An interruption in the brew cycle occurred (power outage,
error, etc.). A quick-rinse cycle must be performed to
clear this error.
►
A stray pod may have fallen on the internal shelf below
the brewer
►
Check the sensor board
►
The whipper bowl has overflowed. Clean the milk
overflow by pouring water directly onto the deflector
underneath the whipper bowl. If necessary, use a small
brush (and water) to clean the milk overflow.

Check the water heater.
►
Check the thermal cut-off switch
►
Check wiring to heater assembly
►
Inspect system for water leaks, especially on electrical
components
►
Check all low power components
►
Check electronic boards
►
Check wiring
►
Check for leaks/pressure loss in the water system
►
Check the flow meter
►
Check the water pump
►
Check the routing of the tubing
►
Check the flow meter

Check the water pump

Brew head may be clogged

Tubing in water system may be kinked or have an
obstruction
►
Check the water detection manifold. The detection
screws may need to be removed and cleaned.
►
Check the wiring to the manifold and board
►
Check the connections to the flow meter
►
Open and clean the flow meter
►
Replace the flow meter
