Storing the Coffee Maker
Should the coffee maker need to be stored indefinitely, or if it will not be used for a
week or more, precautions must be taken to prevent damage to internal components
of the equipment.
WARNING:
maker prior to storage or a prolonged period of non-use, it will harden
and dam age the m ilk conveyor and whipper.
To properly store the coffee maker, perform these simp le procedures and the
equipment will be ready to use when it is to be installed at a customer location.
1. Remove the milk canister.
2. Empty the milk conveyor (see

instructions).
4. Using a Shop-Vac type vacuum, p lace the vacuum nozzle d irectly over
the milk can ister receptacle (the grill onto which the milk canister lid
check valve engages). It is not necessary to open the top cover of the
coffee maker – only the milk door.
5. Switch
vacuum to pull any remain ing dehydrated milk fro m the conveyor
system.
6. Empty and clean the waste bin.
7. Empty and clean the drip t ray.
NOTE:
Milk can al s o accumulate inside the unit and should be cleaned using a
Shop-Vac type vacuum. Thi s requi r es removal of the top cover and contour panel
and can be done before storing the uni t (recommended), or before installing it.
