The following method can be used only if a Wet/Dry (Shop-Vac type) vacuum is
available. If one is not available, proceed to the next section.
Cleaning the Milk Conveyor Using a Wet/Dry Vacuum
NOTE:
removing the cover and contour panel.
1. Fill a clean spray bottle with a maxi mum of 2 ml (0.06 fl. oz) of SC
Johnson J-512 sanitizing solution per one liter (34 fl. o z) of water. If a
spray bottle is not available, mix the sanitizing solution in a clean leak-
proof container.
2. With the cover open, remove
the vacuum cap fro m the top
of the conveyor (figure 3).
3. Liberally spray (or wipe using
a clean cloth) some of the
sanitizing solution into the top
of the conveyor.
4. Spray (or wipe using a clean cloth) some sanitizing solution directly into
the milk can ister receptacle.
5. Let the solution sit for appro ximately five minutes.
6. After the five minutes have elapsed, insert the nozzle fro m the Wet/Dry
vacuum into the milk canister receptacle.
7. Switch on the power to the Wet/Dry vacuum and vacuum the sanitizing
solution from the conveyor for appro ximately t wo minutes.
8. Let the unit sit for appro ximately 30 minutes for the sanitizing solution to
completely dry inside the conveyor (top cover should be left open).
9. After 30 minutes have elapsed, re-install the vacuum cap onto the milk
conveyor.
10. Close the top cover, and re-install the two screws to secure it.
11. Close the water door, insert a milk can ister and close the milk door.
12. Connect the service cord to the wall outlet.
13. The next t ime the mach ine is switched on, the conveyor will act ivate to
prime the system with milk.
NOTE:
When closing the cover, it may be necessary to press down slightly
on the left and right sides of the cover while tightening the screws, otherwi s e
the two doors may not close properl y .
