To install a drain kit on an Espresso Café, the drip tray must first be modified to
remove the float post and create a drain hole.
1. Remove the drip tray grill.
2. Remove the retaining clip that secures the float to the post.
3. Remove the float.
4. Turn the drip tray upside down.
5. Using a ¼" drill b it, align the bit in the center guide of the drip tray and
carefully drill a pilot hole.
6. Change to a 3/8" drill bit and carefully drill another hole where the pilot
hole was drilled to enlarge it.
7. This removes the float post from the drip tray and creates a channel for the
drain system.
