Connecting to a Water Supply
Do not over-tighten the inlet
fitting as this may prevent water
from entering the inlet valve.
1. Connect a ¾" inlet fitt ing to the inlet valve at the rear of the coffee maker,
making certain the rubber washer is inserted between the fitting and the
inlet valve.
NOTE:
state/provincial and federal plumbing codes.
2. Tighten the fitting onto the inlet valve – hand-tighten onl y. Connect the
water tubing to the fitting and install the lock clip to lock it in place.
3. Turn the water on at the source, check for leaks and repair, if necessary.
4. Plug the service cord into a wall outlet and switch ON the power to the
coffee maker.
CAUTION:
initially filled with water. Approxim ately 50 m l (1.7 oz) of water will
be dispensed by the spout due to the purging of the water system .
5. Check for leaks once more and repair, if necessary.
